In the face of historical leaders (Edenred, Sodexo) of an estimated 7 billion euros of annual expenditure, Swile now claims 13% market share, growing from 4 to 5 points a year. “Today, 40% of companies passing paper in dematerialized format do it with us,” says the boss of the company, which claims 15,000 customers for 500,000 users around the world. Carrefour, its largest customer, it alone distributes 70,000 cards to its employees.
Extend the range of services offered
Swile, which does not give information about its revenues, finances through a subscription system and a commission taken from traders’ transactions (restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries) … But the company already sees Greater and wants to capitalize on its location in companies – including TPE-SMEs, which constitute the vast majority of its customers – to expand the range of services it can offer them.
His idea: to allow, with a single card, to employees to access their salary benefits. In addition to the restaurants-restaurants, its map now embeds the gift checks that businesses can deliver and, soon, sustainable mobility aids as well as a functionality to manage professional costs. “We want it to be the card you use for any type of expenditure in a professional context,” says Soubeyrand.
Accelerate internationally
The company also puts on the application backed by its card to make it a product at the center of its strategy. “We will launch a whole feature set to centralize all the needs of employees (vacation request, fee notes, salary cards) and strengthen links within the company with the creation of events and cards . “The new service, in development for more than a year, must be launched at the beginning of 2022.
