The current US President Joe Biden rapidly deprives support from the key to the Democratic Party of voters – African Americans, Latin Americans and Americans of Asian origin, which are increasingly disappointed in his politics. About it reports The Washington Post.
As noted by the publication with reference to the Pew Research Center survey results, in September, Bayden’s approval rating among black Americans decreased by 18 percent – from 85 to 67 percent. For the same period, the number of supporting President Latin Americans decreased by 16 percent, and the number approving its actions of citizens of Asian origin – by 14 percent.
At the same time, the Washington Post writes, the most noticeable disappointment in Biden’s representatives of these groups living in the US state of Georgia. The victory in this state, which for decades has supported candidates from the Republican Party, largely provided Bidenu presidential post in the elections in 2020. However, now local voters are increasingly criticized by the current American leader for non-fulfillment of their election promises.
If, initially, Biden managed to gain the popularity of the large share of the electorate primarily due to the fact that he looked like a real alternative to the Republican Donald Trump, now many of those who voted for him in the 2020s begin to experience dissatisfaction with the president’s inaction on key issues. In particular, the inability of Baiden was seriously criticized by the signing of Georgia, Republican Brian Kemp, which introduces new restrictions on postal and early voting – these ways are especially popular among the Black and Latin American population.
Another failure of Byyden, representatives of the US colorful population believe that he was not able to achieve the adoption of the Law of George Floyd about justice in police activities, which met in Congress with opposition from the Republicans.
At the same time, in the White House insist that Biden and his administration actually make a lot for solving the problems of black Americans, Latin Americans and representatives of other minorities. So, they reminded that Biden appointed a record number of minority representatives to senior positions in their administration. In addition, various bills aimed at social and other support for these groups were adopted.
Earlier in October, it was reported that the rating of Baiden installed a new anti-record. According to Queennipek University, the president’s work is negatively assessed by 53 percent of respondents, while the support was expressed by 38 percent of Americans. At the same time, 55 percent of the Americans surveyed consider the current president and its administration is not sufficiently competent.
