Serbian President Alexander Vucich shared his reflections on how much energy crisis arising in Europe could last. He called the timing from six months to two years, noting that it would not be possible to quickly cope with this problem. His words lead RIA Novosti.
“This crisis does not solve themselves. In the next six months, the crisis will not be decided. And I’m afraid that it may, and two years will continue,” said Vucić at a briefing on the basis of negotiations with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov.
In addition, the Serbian leader believes that this will lead to price increases in different areas, including the cost of food and building materials. Earlier, he, speaking of the likely causes of the gas crisis, said that the problem was an erroneous rate for the “green” energy and the refusal of the EU countries from the timely conclusion of long-term contracts for gas supplies from Russia.
