Avocado is called the product, the use of which in food is necessary to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, improvement of metabolism and normalization of the intestinal operation. This is reported by the Japanese edition of Nihon Cadezay.
According to the study of American scientists, the daily use of avocado in food not only improves the diversity of bacteria in the intestines, but also helps to reduce the level of poor cholesterol in the blood, due to high content in the product of mono-unsaturated fatty acids.
The experiment was attended by 163 patients of different sexes aged 25 to 45 with an index of body mass index at least 25 at the norm below this indicator. Participants were divided into two groups and provided them with a diet with the same amount of calories, nevertheless, the men and women of one of the groups additionally spruted a portion of avocado – at 175 and 140 grams, respectively.
After analyzing the feces of the subjects, scientists came to the conclusion that those who daily used avocado possessed a large number of bacteria that ferment and break the dietary fiber, and less than bile acids in the intestines that lead to inflammation.
Earlier in October, the nutritionist spoke about the consequences of the daily use of yogurt. According to the specialist, since the product contains a large number of vitamins and trace elements, it should be taken in food, if a person wants to fill the deficit of beneficial substances.
