According to reports reported to the specialized site Downdetector , disturbances, confirmed by Facebook, prevented users of Instagram application and, to a lesser extent, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger to access these services on Friday October 8 to 21 h 50.
“We are aware that some people and companies have difficulty accessing Facebook products. We are working to get things back on as quickly as possible normal and we apologize for any inconvenience,” said a spokesman the company said in a message to Agence France-Presse, days after a giant failure that paralyzed these services for several hours.
