Explosion at the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPZ) did not affect gas supplies to China on the Power Siberia gas pipeline. This was announced by the company Gazprom owned by the plant, reports TASS.
The main technological equipment of the GPZ was not injured, the integrity of the production chain was not violated, told in Gazprom. “The volumes of gas supplies correspond to the daily bids of the Chinese side,” reacted in the company.
On October 8, a fire occurred in the Amur GPZ in the city after the explosion of the gas torch due to the depressurization of the equipment. At this time, there were no workers on the site, no one was injured. In early May, the GPZ was connected to the “power of Siberia” to the gas pipeline, which supplied gas to China. GPZ Amur is the largest in Russia and one of the world’s largest.
August 4th the installation of Gazprom was caught fire in New Urengoy. As a result of the fire supply of gas on the Yamal – Europe gas pipeline, it was reduced twice as compared with the July level. The equipment damaged due to fire promised to replace until the end of 2022.
