The Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance) of Russia sent an updated draft law on the online sales of Russian wines to interdepartmental harmonization. About this, with reference to the deputy head of the Ministry of Viktor Yevtukhov, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the document, the possible dates of the pilot project – from March 31, 2022 to December 31, 2024. In the experiment, two regions will take part – Moscow and the Moscow region. In the first version of the draft law, published in August 2021, it was said that in the experiment also involve Mordovia. The final list of participating entities will determine the government.
Order Alcohol will be available only on the website of the “Mail of Russia”. In order for the purchase of wine to be conscious, and not to “satisfy thirst”, the goods will be delivered no earlier than after 24 hours, told Yevtukhov. Currently, the sale of alcoholic beverages on the Internet is prohibited in Russia. For the removal of restrictions there are several departments and business representatives.
In mid-September, the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that the Russians began to drink less alcohol. According to the minister, from 2008 to 2020, alcohol consumption in Russia decreased from 15.7 to 9.1 liters of ethanol per capita, and cases of alcohol poisoning has become less than 60 percent.
