The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia expressed concern about the intensification of the militants of the radical grouping “Islamic State” (IG, prohibited in Russia, a terrorist organization) in Afghanistan. “We call on the Afghan authorities to take additional measures to ensure the security of the Russian diplomatic mission, as well as Russian citizens located in the country,” the diplomat emphasized.
Earlier “Taliban” (a terrorist organization prohibited in Russia) made a shootout with the terrorists of the Russian embassy in Kabul. According to the correspondent, which was located in the embassy on Monday, October 4, shooting sounds were heard from the building. The shootout was carried out, allegedly, using machine guns and automata. Taliban eliminated five terrorists.
