The head of the Ministry of Industry and Commission, Denis Manturov called the start date of the experiment on the online sale of prescription drugs in Russia. Trade in this format will begin on January 1, 2022, they write RIA Novosti.
“In the near future, to be accurate, from January 1 of the next year, an experiment should start an experiment on online trading prescription drugs. I can say that our country is here in the front of the editor,” Manturov said. The implementation of the project will begin in just six months after the initiative appeared: the Government of Moscow and Sberbank made a joint proposal to hold such an experiment on July 19.
Sales will begin not throughout the country, but only in the pilot regions – Moscow, Moscow and Belgorod region. “The entire infrastructure for this today is formed. First of all, I mean through the traceability of the movement of the pharmaceuticals, which was tested with electronic recipes in QR codes format,” said the minister.
According to the document submitted in July by the Government of Moscow, within the framework of the experiment, any prescription drugs can be purchased, except for narcotic and psychotropic, as well as alcohol-containing drugs with a fraction of ethyl alcohol over 25%. Before the authorities have begun to implement the project, the online prescription drugs could only be bought with an emergency. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the relevant law in April 2020.
