The first hypersonic complexes of Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) Dark Eagle (“Dark Orel”) enrolled at the disposal of American artilleryrs. According to the BMPD blog, the US Defense Ministry published snapshots of the transfer of complexes, which took place in September.
Artillery officers of the 17th field artillery brigade of the US Army received training samples and an experienced Battery of the LRHW Dark Eagle hypersonic complex. The pictures are visible mass-dimensional layouts of transport and launchers LRHW, launchers on semi-trailers and tractors OSHKOSH Hemtt A4 M983A4 Patriot.
Judging by the photographs, the military passed two launchers of the first battery of the LRHW complex. Each installation accommodates two transport and starting containers of hypersonic rockets. The LRHW is based on the managed hypersonic combat part of the Common-Hypersonic Glide Body (C-HGB), which is installed on the Ballistic Rocket AUR (All-Up-Round). The declared rocket range is 2775 kilometers.
In the description of the pictures, it is indicated that the transfer of elements of the complex took place in September, and the official ceremony will be held on October 7 based on Lewis McCord in Washington.
