US asked Russia and OPEC countries for assistance in connection with the fuel crisis. This is reported by the Express Observer Kate Whitfield newspaper.
According to her article, Moscow and OPEC states denied Washington and did not dramatically increase oil production to reduce record energy prices. Whitfield believes that this decision will lead to a growing deficit and undermine the process of restoration of US economies, Great Britain and China after a pandemic.
Earlier, on October 5, it became known that oil prices record increased: the cost of December Brent oil futures exceeded 82 dollars for the first time from October 11, 2018. The growth of oil quotes intensified on the eve of the recommendations of the monitoring committee of OPEC member countries + not to increase the current level of production.
