The 25,000 square meters of bluish silver fabric and the 3,000 meters of red rope had been fully deployed around the Arc de Triomphe, in Paris and inaugurated on September 18th. Tuesday, October 4 has come the time of dismantling the work of Jeanne-Claude and Christo, thought from 1962, as they looked at the monument from their first Paris apartment, Foch Avenue.

With a cost of 14 million euros, the project is fully self-financing, without public subsidy, thanks to the sale of original works by Christo, preparatory drawings, memories, models and lithographs.
