Prices in near Moscow networks “Pyaterochka” and “Magnit” decreased after the order of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). This is reported by TASS with reference to the data of the departments. Previously, the Tander JSC (Magnit Trade Network) and Agrotorg LLC (Pyaterochka Trading Network) received a warning from service: they demanded to reduce the prices of socially significant products.
“After the warnings of the Moscow Regional Ufas Russia, trading networks reported a decrease in retail prices for wheat flour, bread, chicken and pork in urban districts, where they occupy a dominant position,” assured in the FAS.
On checks in the largest Russian trading networks on the increase in prices FAS reported in mid-August. Raid were held in the X5 Group (“Pyaterochka”, “Crossroads”, “Carousel”), “Ribbon” and “Magnies”. At the same time, the department was warned that if the suspicion is confirmed, the violators expect a revolving fine in the amount of up to 15 percent of the annual revenue.
At the end of August, the control of the FAS in the Moscow region revealed cases of highlighting prices in the stores of Pyaterochka retail chains and magnet in a number of city districts of the region. It turned out that in those urban districts where one of the networks occupies a dominant position, the prices for products in stores are higher than in the other retail outlets of the region. In particular, the excess of the cost of flour, bread, chicken and pork was more than 10 percent.
