Winter tire prices in Russia grew by 25 percent even before the start of the replacement season. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press secretary of the portal about cars “Drome” Maria Pogrebets.
Tires have risen in price, including due to rising prices for raw materials, inflation and marking systems. At the same time, in the segment of cheap tires there may be a deficit. “Moreover, the fall in the volume of release is not yet compensated, and we can expect a banal shortage of automotive tires, first of all in more affordable niches,” the cellar commented. Now the cost of a set of winter rubber, former in use, is an average of 14.4 thousand rubles. A new set is more than 44 thousand rubles.
According to the poregler, from September 27 to October 3, the demand for winter tires in Russia grew by 105 percent. Most motorists (75 percent) prefer to use spiked tires.
As the coordinator of the “Blue buckets” coordinator, Peter Shkumatov, is needed to install winter tires at day temperatures below seven degrees. “Seven degrees is a threshold when the effectiveness of summer braking tires is compared with the winter,” he explained.
