Russia and United States did not agree on mutual recognition of Vaccination from COVID-19

Russia and the United States discussed the prospects for mutual recognition of certificates of vaccination from COVID-19. This was announced at a briefing in Geneva. The Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko, whose words quoted TASS.

During the meeting, the parties did not agree on specific steps. However, according to Murashko, the American side is ready to return to the dialogue after assessing the position of Russia.

“they heard arguments, they understand that it is rational, because the approval of the vaccine for sale in the market and approval of the drug as prevention of the COVID-19 disease is different processes,” said the head of the Russian Ministry of Health.

Murashko specifically clarified that during the negotiations raised the question of recognition not vaccines, namely certificates. In addition, the parties discussed the effectiveness of preventive measures that will help keep the proliferation of coronavirus on a global scale.

Earlier it became known that the US government may refuse to enter the United States to foreigners vaccinated from the COVID-19 Russian Vaccine “Satellite V”.
