Russia and United States will discuss mutual recognition of certificates of vaccination from COVID-19

Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko plans to discuss with representatives of the US delegation, the issue of mutual recognition of certificates of vaccination from coronavirus. According to RIA Novosti, the meeting will be held today, October 2, in Geneva.

It is noted that during the dialogue will be raised a wide range of issues related to the interaction between the two health states. Consultations with the American Party will be a continuation of the informal meeting of the members of the World Health Organization Executive Committee (WHO) in Geneva.

“including the issue of mutual recognition of certificates of vaccination will be discussed,” Alexey Kuznetsov said an assistant to the head of the Russian Ministry of Health.

On the eve Murashko held another meeting – with WHO CEO. Tedros Adan Hebresus called the negotiations “constructive” and thanked the Russian minister for an effective dialogue. One of the ones rising during the meeting was the procedure for incorporating vaccines from coronavirus to the list of preparations recommended by WHO for emergency application.
