Nine people became victims of a fire in a Covid-19 hospital in Romania

In the department of intensive care hospital for patients with COVID-19 in the Romanian city of Constanta, there was a major fire. Reports about it Reuters with reference to representatives of local authorities.

According to the agency, nine people became victims of the fire. Due to the rapid spread of fire, some victims had to jump out of the windows of the hospital, others endured firefighters. Country Health Minister Chekj Attila said that at the time of the incident in the medical institution were 113 patients, 10 of which – in the intensive care unit.

At the moment, most patients were assisted, some of them were transferred to other hospitals. The Montenegrin authorities noted that this is the third event of a fire in the coronavirus medical center of Romania for the year. In February, there was also a fire in Bucharest Hospital, as a result of which four people were killed.

September 9 reported that more than 40 people died as a result of a fire in the Tanglerang correctional colony in Indonesia. The number of prisoners in this block exceeded the norm three times. Instead of 38 prisoners there were 122 people. According to the administration of a correctional institution, all the dead were prisoners.
