Most important consequence of collapse of USSR

One of the most important consequences of the collapse of the USSR, which led to the transformation of the world order is the disappearance of the socialist camp. About this in the framework of the special project, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union, Lent.Ru told the philosopher and sociologist, Professor Niu “Higher School of Economics” Alexander Philippov.

He described this process as the disappearance of the external empire, the key core idea of political and ideological universalism, with whom the USSR performed as a proposal for the whole world.

“This allowed him to spend enormous resources not only on economic, political, but also ideological presence everywhere. If it was necessary to access the mines somewhere in Africa – then at the disposal, in addition to military equipment, there was still a all-standing teaching of Marxism Leninism, theory of the global socialist system, special ideological institutions who were preparing frames for armed or, on the contrary, peaceful struggle. They were mobilized and ready for everything in the call of the party, “explained Philipp.

In his opinion, the disappearance of the USSR should be considered precisely as a large process that can be called the collapse of world Marxist-Lenin socialism.

“It is this process of great importance, because it was then that very much was asked and disappeared. There are no comparable ideas, no comparable mobilizing force to make such world expansions as the USSR, Russia does not have. And there is no suggestion that they will appear, impossible” , – summarized Philipp.

Previously, the philosopher and sociologist Alexander Filippov in a conversation with “Tape.ru” called the reasons for the crisis of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU).
