On the Baikonur cosmodrome, the participants of the upcoming expedition to the international space station were performed the second “fitting” – a control inspection of the transport piloted ship “Union MS-19” in flight configuration.
Before the start of the control training, the main and duplicating crew commanders were viewed by the node module “Pier”, passing pre-assembled training in the installation and test case of the site No. 254. After the introductory briefing, the crew members took their place in the ship, familiarized themselves with the placement of payload and Equipment in the descent apparatus and household compartment, and also checked the performance of onboard systems in test mode.
Then the astronauts made a traditional visit to the Baikonur cosmodrome museum and left their autographs there. Specialists of the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S.P. The Queen (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) and profile enterprises of Roskosmos began to disconnect the terrestrial test equipment and loading the cosmic head to the transport unit before sending to the general assembly with the carrier rocket.
Start of the Soyuz-2.1A carrier launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-19 ship to the International Space Station scheduled for October 5, 2021. The main crew includes: Commander Anton Sluffers (Roscosmos) and Russian participants of the space flight – Actress Julia Peresilde and Director Klim Shipenko. Their dubers are astronaut Roscosmos Oleg Artemyev, Alena Mordovin and Alexey Dudin.
