Lukashenko promised “the most stringent” measures in response to murder of KGB employee

Employees of the Belarusian Committee of State Security (KGB) had information that in the apartment where their colleague was killed is involved in the training of a terrorist attack. This was told by the press secretary of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko Natalia Eismont, reports the Telegram channel “Pool of the First”.

According to her, attempts “in the literal sense to undermine the situation” in the country do not stop so far. “Having received information about the next threat, the relevant services were checked and worked out with it,” Eismont explained.

She also stated that Lukashenko instructed to take the necessary measures to support the family of the deceased worker of state security, as well as carefully understand the circumstances of the murder. At the same time, Eismont added that the head of state promised the “instantaneous and toughest” reaction in response to what happened.

The death of the Belarusian KGB officer became known on September 28. He participated in the special operation “to develop addresses in which there could be persons involved in terrorist activities.”

When trying to penetrate one of the apartments, the 6-year-old Andrei Zeltser, who was there with a 40-year-old wife opened the security forces. The man was eliminated by a retaliatory fire.

In complicity, the crime was accused of Zelzer’s wife. A criminal case was initiated under the article “The murder of a person in connection with the exercise of the service activities.”
