The newly proclaimed woman named Salma Tanvir (Salma Tanveer) was condemned for blasphemy, fined and sentenced to death in Pakistan, writes The Independent.
A resident of Lahore, who calls himself a prophet, who came after Mohammed (according to Islamic verbation, he is the last prophet and the envoy of Allah – approx. “Trent.ru”), previously worked as a school principal. It is argued that she wrote his version of religious teaching, in which he denied the well-established opinion that Mohammed was the last chosen one of Allah.
In 2013, the local police opened the case of blasphemy against Tanvir, the foundation was then served as a local clergy complaint. On September 27, 2021, the Pakistani court sentenced her to execution and decided to recover a penalty in the amount of 50 thousand rupees (about 21 thousand rubles) from a woman. In the verdict, which is located on the 22rs, it is noted that the ex-director of the school “humiliated the Holy Prophet Mohammed” and could not prove that she is mentally ill. In this case, according to the current laws, the charges could remove.
The lawyer accused during the meeting objected that the woman did not realize his actions, as it is a mentally ill, but the prosecution provided a medical examination report, which said that Tanvir could participate in the trial, because it does not suffer from mental disorders.
The publication notes that for blasphemy since 1987, at least 1472 people were convicted in the country. In August 2021, the charges were nominated to the youngest resident of the country – then the eight-year-old boy was caught in the “pre-male” urination on the carpet in the library of the Madrasa, where religious literature was kept.
