After the completion of technological operations on the preparation of the MS-18 Progress Ship to Pneumatic Tests, the specialists of the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S.P. The Queen (enters Roscosmos) and profile enterprises of Roscosmos delivered the ship to the vacuum chamber 17T523MR of the assembly and test case. The six-day test cycle using the helium-air environment in the scanned volumes provides objective control of the tightness of the product and its onboard systems in ground conditions.
Start of the Soyuz-2.1A carrier missile with the MS-18 Progress Cargo Ship on the ISS 79th program is scheduled for October 2021 from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
