German Foreign Minister Haiko Masa received a direct mandate in Bundestag

Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Social Democrat Haiko Masa received a direct mandate in the Bundestag, ahead of the Sarloui Minister of Economics and Energy, a member of the Christian Democratic Union (XDS) Petair Altmayer. This is reported by TASS.

it specifies that it was the only national duel for the mandate in the Bundestag between the two chapters of federal departments. As a result of the vote, the FRG Foreign Minister received support for 36.7 percent of voters, while his opponent – 28 percent. Now Altmayer will be able to go to the Bundestag only on party lists.

Earlier, the Russian ambassador in Germany Sergey Nechaev said that Russia will be ready to work with any government that will be formed after elections to the Bundestag, regardless of its party configuration.
