Earlier, the head of the RTI System Concern Yury Anoshko spoke about the planned modernization of the RLS “Voronezh”. According to him, the station will bring to the level of the new radar “Yachroma”, which is distinguished by the best noise immunity with a smaller combat calculation.
In January, it became known about the plans for the construction of the radar “Yachroma” in the District of the Chukchi Sea by 2030. TASS with reference to the source in the defense and industrial complex reports that the new station will function automatically.
The commercial RLS 77Y6 “Voronezh” are designed to detect cosmic and aerodynamic objects. The line 77 y96 includes stations of a meter, decimeter and centimeter band. This allows you to combine the high detection range with the accuracy of determining the target parameters.
