From September 21 to September 23, 2021, scientific readings of the memory of K. Esiolkovsky took place in the city of Kaluga in the 56th. In 2021, they first passed on the territory of the New Corps of the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics. In 2021, more than 350 people took part in the annual readings, over 200 reports were made. Among the participants of the forum – the hero of Russia, the cosmonaut Alexander Kalery and the Lights of Tsiolkovsky – Sergey Samburov.
Traditionally, employees of the Academician V.P. Academician V.P. took part in the work of the Historical Section of the Forum. Glushko (part of the state corporation “Roskosmos”). Head of Advertising and Exhibition Activities Svetlana Kolinins and Chief Specialist of the Department Vladimir Sudakov presented to the second part of the report “Names on the Luna map”, which was told about the three associates academician Valentina Petrovich Glushko, whose names were assigned to crater on the moon: Georgy Sergeevich Zhiritsky, Nikolay Nikolaevice Artamonov and Alexander Ivanovich Gavrilov These outstanding designer engineers worked with Glushko in Sharashka and OKB-SD in Kazan and OKB-456 in Khimki, but their role in the post-warming and development of rocket and space technology is little known.
The plenary session took place in the new hall of the museum opened to the 60th anniversary of the first flight of a person in space. In the new museum, a large space is highlighted for rocket engines, including Energomash created in NGOs. The engines of the RD-107/108 family of the RD-107/108 are perfectly looking in the exposition, RD-253 engine. In the same part of the museum presented engines for the production of the design bureau of Himavtomatics, the design office of Chemical Engineering named after A.M. Isaev and Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (included in Roscosmos) – all together they create a single block of missile engine building.
According to Vladimir Sudakov, an updated museum of the history of cosmonautics in Kaluga must be visited at least once. Especially people working in the rocket and space industry.
