Kabul sees the willing of Nur-Sultan to help the Afghan people and is ready to discuss with him the issues of humanitarian situation and security. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan from the government of the Taliban (the movement is prohibited in Russia) Amir Khan Muttaki at a meeting with Ambassador of Kazakhstan Alimkhan Esengeldiyev, writes Sputnik.
Foreign Minister thanked the Kazakh diplomat for the willingness to conduct a dialogue with the new authorities of the Republic, including on world issues in the region. “The foreign policy of Kazakhstan as a whole, and in the Afghan direction in particular, it is respectful,” said Muttaki.
He also promised to stop the emergence of any threats in Afghanistan, which in the future can affect the well-being and security of other countries of Central Asia, as well as in general, to carry out restrained policies in relation to neighbors. “The head of the Afghan Foreign Ministry thanked the Kazakh side for the readiness to provide subject support to the population of Afghanistan in a complex transition period,” the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports.
Previously, the Taliban deprived the Uzbek language of the status of the official in Afghanistan. This law was called the “Basis”. He says that only Pashta and Dari remain in the country, and the Sunni Islam of the Khanafitsky Mazhab is recognized by the only official religion.
