Putin called on level of poverty in Russia to a minimum

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the need to reduce poverty in the country to a minimum. He reported this during a video meeting with the leadership of the parties passed to the State Duma of the eighth convocation, reports TASS.

“We have all many common challenges, common tasks. You need to minimize the level of poverty in the country, pull out a significant number of people from it,” the Russian leader called.

The head of state added that it is important to improve the conditions for the development, training and nutrition of children in families with low income, increase the level and availability of education, health care and continue changes in the structure of the economy in favor of high-tech industries.
