State Duma purchased 450 smartphones in the Chinese company Realme. Their number coincides with the number of mandates – apparently it is assumed that the deputies of the eighth convocation should be used. The cost of the contract is 4.3 million rubles, 9.5 thousand rubles per smartphone, RBC reports with reference to the materials of the state procurement.
As follows from the tender conditions, the smartphones had to support two SIM cards, working in 4G cellular systems, the screen diagonal should be at least six inches, and the volume of the built-in memory is at least 64 gigabytes. In addition, the presence of an eight-cherished processor, support for Wi-Fi, GPS and fingerprint scanner. Contract the winner of the tender, LLC Moscow Center for Sales, must by the end of the year.
Realme is founded in 2018. In the second quarter, according to IDC, it accounted for 4.8 percent of smartphones supplied to Russia. The manufacturer takes the fourth place, yielding Xiaomi, Samsung and Apple. Research company CANALYS argues that the brand has shown an increase of 5113 percent over the past seven quarters – the maximum in the Russian market.
Five years ago, the State Duma purchased 500 Alcatel smartphones for 2.6 million rubles. According to the results of the vote, which last September 17-19, “United Russia”, despite the worst than five years ago, the result of party lists, strengthened its position in the lower chamber of parliament. She will receive 324 deputy mandates. The Russian Federation will have 57 mandates, “Fair Russia – for the truth” was able to collect 27 mandates, and the LDPR – 21. The fifth of the past parties “New People” received 13 seats.
