Hungary refused to change policies against LGBT

Hungary refuses me to propaganda LGBT, despite the pressure from the European Community. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of the country Peter Siyarthto in an interview with Associated Press (AR).

The diplomat accused the European Commission in blackmail and urged the EU not to impose his position to Budapest. “We will not make compromises on these issues, because we are a sovereign country, a sovereign nation,” he stressed. The Foreign Minister noted that the Hungarian authorities continue to stand on their for the next children.

September 9, Siyarthto clarified that the law against LGBT propaganda was not aimed at infringement of gay rights and other sexual minorities. He pointed out that it was based on a ban on the spread of materials of a pornographic nature, as well as propaganda of homosexuality and gender shift among children. According to the minister, after 18 years, citizens of the Volns themselves choose their future way.

In the summer, the law prohibiting the demonstration of homosexuality and gender change in any content, allowed for children entered into force in Hungary. The European Commission found the law by infringerating the rights of the LGBT community and threatened by Budapest by the court. European politicians also criticized the law. Thus, the Foreign Minister of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn said that the leaders of the EU countries should hold a referendum on the further membership of Hungary in the union.
