The leaders of the Taliban’s radical movement (a terrorist organization prohibited in Russia) will soon begin to conduct “cleaning of the ranks” among their militants to identify misconduct, contrary to the values of the grouping. This is reported by the Afghan TV channel Shamshad TV, reports TASS.
According to the television channel, the Special Commission will be engaged in these events. The corresponding decree of the management of the movement is planned to be sent to all the power structures of the new Afghan authorities within two weeks.
It is noted that the Taliban may threate a harsh punishment for a number of crimes, among which corruption and financial fraud, personal enmity, robbery, pursuit of citizens and massacre above them, as well as moral decomposition.
Previously, the vice-president of Afghanistan, the Karim Khalili community leader, Karim Khalili, said that the representatives of the Shiite minority would return to the armed confrontation with the Taliban if the militants would not fulfill their promises. The politician noted that the new Afghan government formed by the Taliban is not inclusive, and the current distribution of forces is unacceptable for other ethnic groups of the country.
