Czech prosecutor Martin Malush stated that the investigation of the cases of explosions in Vrbetice addresses several European countries, the request for legal support was sent to Prague also to Russia. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to him, now the Czech Republic gradually studies and analyzes the results of legal support, which have already been received. “We continue to work with the verification of the version of a fairly reasonable suspicion that the explosions were initiated by the bait device placed in warehouses working in the interests of Russian military intelligence,” the prosecutor emphasized.
Malush noted that the large-scale investigation is still held, and its goal is to make a map of movements and contacts of suspected persons. Also investigators collect evidence that should clarify the motives of the committing of both explosions.
On September 2, the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry estimated the likelihood of termination of relations between Prague and Moscow. “Currently, Russia is impossible to” not have “relations,” said Kulgank. At the same time, he called for not to build them on excessive emotions, as some politicians in the Czech Republic required this.
Russia and the Czech Republic relations worsened against the background of the accusations against the Russian special services, which Prague considers involved in an explosion in the warehouse of ammunition in Vrbetice in 2014. Czech Republic also announced the search for two citizens of the Russian Federation: Alexander Petrova and Ruslana Bolsharova. Russia denies its involvement in incident. Later, Moscow made the Czech Republic to the list of unfriendly countries.
