United States and the European Union (EU) have created a partnership for the transfer of poor vaccines from COVID-19, as well as to combat disinformation in vaccination. This was stated by US President Joe Biden during the online summit on the fight against the pandemic, reports TASS.
“We undertake to send free, and not sell doses of [drugs from COVID-19] countries with low and lower income,” said the American leader. He also announced a meeting of foreign ministers of different countries on a pandemic, which by the end of 2021 will be held US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
In conclusion, Biden called on the leaders of the countries of the world to collect on another COVID-19 summit in the first half of 2022. According to the US President, the event will help assess the success of various states in the fight against the coronavirus infection.
Previously, Biden called on the world to prepare for a new pandemic. He reported that countries should take joint efforts to protect against the dissemination of COVID-19.
