The Ministry of Finance plans for 2022-2024 to get 546 billion rubles from additional taxes on the enterprises of metallurgy, coal industry and fertilizer insurance after adopting amendments to the Tax Code. Interfax reports this with reference to the government made to the government “On Amendments to Part Two Tax Code”.
At the same time, the exact profits of the Ministry of Finance does not yet call, because, as noted in an explanatory note to the document, “the tax on the income tax on the proposed mechanism depends on the investment and dividend organization policy.”
Changes to the system of taxation of the mining and metallurgical sector companies The government and business representatives are discussed from last week. At the moment, there are three options for increasing the income of the state: a change in the formula for calculating the mining of mineral mining (NPPI), the introduction of progressive income tax, as well as a combined option.
According to the Minister of Finance Anton Siluongov, the increase in the NDPI will bring to 160 billion rubles to the state budget every year. The head of the department believes that tax changes should “stimulate enterprises to leave more money in Russia, invest in projects less dividends.”
Government plans to increase NPPI for metallurgists became known at the end of August. In response, business supplies offered to raise them the income tax to continue to invest in complex projects with a small content of minerals.
