In the United Nations (UN) responded to the decision of the Taliban (“Taliban” – a terrorist organization forbidden in Russia) on the assignment of the ambassador. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Deputy Official Representative of the UN Secretary General Faryhan Khaka.
According to him, decide who will submit Afghanistan in the UN, must be a committee on accreditation. “This question is for the accreditation committee,” Khak said, answering the question, whether the UN response was on the Taliban letter and who will now represent the republic in the organization.
Earlier, the Taliban sent a letter to the UN in which the postpredient of Afghanistan, appointed by the previous government, is no longer submitted by the country in the organization. Taliban also stated that a new representative of Afghanistan in the UN was appointed – Mohammad Sukhail Shahin.
