An-26 transport aircraft, which disappeared from radars in the Khabarovsk Territory on September 22, carried out a technical flight, during which the vessel’s communication means were checked. Such details became known to the RIA Novosti newspaper.
Source in emergency services also reported publishing that the board, according to preliminary data, belongs to the company “Flight checks and systems”. According to TASS, the connection with the An-26 was interrupted when it was at a distance of 38 kilometers from the Khabarovsk-Central airfield.

A catastrophe with an aircraft of the same model occurred in July 2021 in Kamchatka. The priority version of the crash is the crew error. The plane followed Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to the village of Palan, however, fell four kilometers to the destination. Of those who were on board 22 passengers and six members of the crew nobody survived.
