Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the number of rich families in Russia has decreased by 40 percent. In the first quarter of 2021, the high income was marked at about a million families, the year earlier there were 1.7 million. Such data are given in the study of the Finexpertiza’s auditing and consulting network, which is at the disposal of “Renta.ru”.
The company founded its conclusions on the poll of Rosstat. Secured are families who have enough money to buy everything they need. And if in the first quarter of 2020, 3.1 percent of families answered, then in a year – 1.9 percent.
Finexpertiza Global President Elena Trubnikova recognized that it was not all families to talk about his prosperity, but even with such an assumption, it is clear that the rich families in Russia are still a minor amount, and they are sharply disappeared. According to her, the dynamics of income is such that causes to doubt the possibility of forming the middle class.
In the context of the regions, the number of rich families decreased in 37 subjects of the federation, and increased in 32. In 16 of them, in no 2020, none in the 2021th found a statistically significant number of families who would have declared the full financial well-being.

Each Eighth Russian Family (12.9 percent) admits that it is enough for money only on food, but to buy clothes and pay housing housing and utilities. The poorest households (0.2 percent) lack money even on food.
