Researchers from Austria found out that in the blood of SARS-COV-2 people there is a unique pattern of immunological markers, according to which the reaction to coronavirus infection at an early stage can be distinguished from responses to other diseases. The article of scientists is published in the journal Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology.
For his research, scientists from the University of Vienna selected patients who applied to doctors with symptoms of viral respiratory diseases no later than two days after their occurrence. According to the results of PCR tests, patients were divided into two groups – with COVID-19 (18 people) and without (16 people). 21 healthy person was chosen as a control group.
