The Counselor-Messenger of the Russian Embassy in the UK was summoned to the British Foreign Ministry because of the new data on the poisoning of the former Officer of GRU Sergei Skriplia and his daughter Yulia in the city of Salisbury in 2018. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the statement of Russian diplomsses.
At the same time, Reuters, with reference to the sources, noted that the Ministry call the Russian ambassador.
Previously, the British police accused the third Russian in the poisoning of the violinist. They became General Groj Denis Sergeyev, who, presumably, used the pseudonym Sergey Fedotov. He commanded two other employees of the GRU. The royal prosecutor’s office nominated the same accusations against him as the two previous suspects – an attempt to kill, applying serious bodily injuries to the police officer Bailey and the use of chemical weapons.
