US is ready to discuss the return to the nuclear transaction with Iran with partners on the Security Council (UN Security Council) at the General Assembly in New York. This was stated by the responsible employee of the Bureau for International Organizations of the US State Department Erika Barks Raggls, reports TASS.
She noted that the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will not hold meetings with Iran’s Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdollahian on this issue. According to the diplomat, the representative of Germany will also take part in the negotiations on a nuclear transaction with Iran.
Also Raggls expressed the hope of Washington to continue the dialogue with Tehran on this issue. As the main figure in communications between Iran and the White House, the representative of the State Department allocated the US Special Representative on Iran Robert Malloe.
On June 21, the new president of Iran Ibrahim Raisi said that Joe Bidenu’s only concession will be the return of Tehran to a nuclear transaction. The State Department has promised that Washington will continue negotiations with Tehran on returning to it with the new leadership of the country. However, Raisi refused to meet with Biden even in case of removing all sanctions against Iran.
