Release of the experimental branch of the open implementation WinAPI – wine 6.16 . Since the release of version 6.15, 36 error reports were closed and 443 changes were made.
The most important changes:
- The initial version of the backend for joysticks that support HID (Human Interface Devices) is proposed.
- improved support for the design on screens with high pixel density (HighDPI).
- continued preparation for the implementation of the GDI system call interface.
- in Wineedump Improved debug information support CodeView.
- solved the problem with assembling on systems with GLIBC 2.34.
- Error reports related to the work of the Games are closed:
Hitman, Return of Arcade Anniversary, Dangerous Water, Comet Busters,
Tetris, Temtem, Star Citizen. - Error reports related to the operation of applications are closed: Kingsoft Office 2012,
Rootsmagic 3.2.x, Enterprise Architect 6.5, Internet Explorer 4, NVIDIA D3D SDK 10, MMS BUCHFUEHRUNG UND BILANZ, VPYTHON 6.11, HOMESITE + V5.5, SUMATRA PDF 3.1.1.
At the same time formed Project release wine Staging 6.16 , within which advanced Wine build buildings are formed, including not fully finished or risky patches, so far unsuitable for the adoption of Wine. Compared to Wine in Wine Staging, 605 additional patches are provided.
In the new release, it was synchronized with the Code Base of Wine 6.16. Two patch are translated into the main composition: WS2_32 (Returns the correct time for SO_CONNECT_TIME) and DPNet (implements the IDirectPlay8Server ENUMSERVICEPROVIDERS). The composition includes patches with the implementation of D3DX11GetimageInfromMemory and D3DX11CReateTextureFromMemory functions. Updated Patches Server-Default_integrity and Ntdll-Syscall_emulation.
