Husnullin stated conditions for implementation of Russian megaproject

Vice-Prime Minister Marat Husnullin called the deadlines in which the decision to build a high-speed railway line (SMM) “Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod”. It is assumed that this will happen in 2022, RIA Novosti reports.

Khusnullin also told under what conditions the construction of the WMS will be built. The implementation of one of the Russian megaprojects depends on the filling of the National Welfare Fund (FNB), he explained.

“My personal opinion: if the budget or the FNB will allow, then, of course, it is necessary to build AGM and Peter, and to Nizhny Novgorod, with subsequent extension to Kazan and Yekaterinburg. It is necessary, of course, build high-speed trains to the south,” stressed Deputy Prime Minister.

According to the deputy chairman of the government, if the revenue base of the FNB will allow, the Cabinet will make a proposal for the renewal of the project. “To the lower minimum, the UNMD must be brought. The decision will be made in 2022, depending on the state of the FNB,” he concluded.
