The East Cosmodrome during the working visit was visited by a representative from the executive body of the State Authority of the Amur Region in the Council of Federation Ivan Abramov. The senator inspected the starting and technical complexes for the Soyuz-2 launch vehicle and the construction site, where work continues on creating a starting complex for the rocket class “Angara”.
He also visited the future meteorological complex, designed to evaluate weather conditions not only in the launch of space-based missiles, but also within the work of the airport, the construction of which is deployed on the cosmodrome. Ivan Abramov also visited objects on the territory of ZATO Tsiolkovsky: the starry “Star” and the city boiler house.
“Funding of the Eastern Sports Project is one of the priority issues of the Development of the Amur Region. In the near future I will do it like a senator that represents this region,” said Ivan Abramov.
