GNOME project introduced a Web-directory application

Project developers GNOME presented new application catalog apps.gnome.org , which offers a selection of the best applications created in accordance with the GNOME community philosophy and without problems integrated with the desktop. Three sections are proposed: the main applications, additional applications from the community developed as part of the GNOME Circle initiative, and applications for developers. The catalog also offers mobile applications created using GNOME technologies that are placed in the lists of a special icon.
