The Minister of Information of the Taliban Terrorist Movement (prohibited in Russia) said that the militants were not going to attack Russia. So he answered the question of the correspondent of “Komsomolsk Pravda”.
“everything that happens in Afghanistan is a purely inner case of the country. We are not going to export the revolution in the neighboring countries, nor the more in Russia,” the representative of the Taliban promised.
According to him, the movement appreciates the role of Moscow in resolving the conflict in Afghanistan. Russian authorities also talked more than once that they were ready to maintain ties with the Taliban for the establishment of peace in the Islamic Republic.
Ambassador of Russia of Great Britain Andrei Kelin said that now Moscow analyzes the situation and is in no hurry to take any political steps. The attention is primarily focused on the situation with human rights, the formation of the government and the situation with crime – in particular, terrorism and drug trafficking.
