Milk Union complained of a maximum of 150 percent for products in stores

Milk Union of Russia complained about the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) due to high margin for dairy products in stores. This was told by Chairman of the Council of the Union Lyudmila Manitskaya, reports “Interfax”.

The most important problem with sales – trading networks have very high marks, from 50 to 150 percent, she said. “In no country in the world there is no such margin on dairy and other products,” said Manitskaya. She noted that the Union received mass complaints of cheating from enterprises from different regions of the country.

Earlier, the general director of the National Union of Milk Manufacturers (“Soyuzmoloco”) Artem Belov said that the industry has greatly fallen in the production and processing of milk due to sharp increase in cost. Additional pressure on producers will be entry marking and improving environmental requirements for enterprises, it is sure.

Earlier it was reported that the FAS will prepare a bill that regulates fees for products. In the stores “Pyaterochka”, “Crossroads”, “Carousel”, “Ribbon” and “Magnit” passed unscheduled checks. As indicated in the service, their goal is “the prevention of unreasonable increase in the value of socially significant food products”, the cause of which can be collusion.
