President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held several telephone conversations with the leaders of Member States of the Collective Security Agreement (CSTO) on the situation in Afghanistan. It is reported by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
According to the department, Lukashenko, I phoned with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon to discuss issues that were made at the CSTO meeting in Dushanbe, as well as the general state of affairs in Afghanistan after a number of terrorist attacks of the Islamic state of the “Islamic state” (IG, prohibited Russia).
Lukashenka’s similar questions discussed with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The conversation of the Belarusian leader with a colleague from Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzieev will be held.
On August 27, Mirzieev stated that the Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) promised to the leadership of Uzbekistan, which will not be released “not a single bullet” to its servicemen, and the country’s borders will remain inviolable. The politician noted that for the sake of “peace and tranquility” in his own country is ready to negotiate with any groupings and movements in the presence of factors that can guarantee nonpace.
Earlier, Lukashenko said that what was happening in Afghanistan is a “gigantic defeat” of Western politics. In his opinion, the situation in Afghanistan primarily indicates the defeat of the United States policies on the “thoughtless armed plantation of the so-called principles of democracy.” At the same time, Lukashenko stressed that Washington could completely consciously destabilize the situation in Afghanistan.
