In Poland, the border guards along with the military detained 13 people who tried to destroy the fence from barbed wire on the border with Belarus. It is reported by radio RMF24.
According to the Polish border service, 12 citizens of Poland and one citizen of the Netherlands were criminals. They tied a wire harness to two cars and tried to stretch it in this way. The department also noted that among the detainees there was an activist of the public organization “Open Dialogue” Bartos Kramke.
According to the portal ONET, before attacking the border barriers, the attackers published an appeal in which their motives commented.
In particular, it refers to the responsibility of Poland as an ally of the United States in Afghanistan. “Now we are partially responsible for the situation in which Afghans remained, the remaining one with Islamist fundamentalists. But we have commitments to refugees arriving in our country,” the report says.
previously it became known that the Polish authorities decided to establish a barbed wire fence on the border with Belorussia against the background of the aggravation of the migration crisis. Polish Defense Minister Mariusch Blazchak said that such measures are needed to limit the flow of illegal migrants who are trying to get to the European Union countries (EU) from the Belarusian territory.
