38-year-old designer Bushra Sheikh (Bushra Shaikh) from Surreya, England, learned to wear hijab as a child. The heroine of the material grew in a religious family and believed that he would fall into hell if the Islam rule was violated against Women. At the same time, the parents Sheikh did not insist on the girl wore closed clothes and covered his head. In school, a girl for a while stopped wearing a handkerchief, but again returned to traditional clothes aged 19, when married.
“Beginning to wear it again, I was confused. One half was happy me, because I glad to my husband and did it to God, while the second – resisted the need to cover your head,” she shared.
At the same time, Sheikh began to build a fashion designer career. The woman wanted to give people the opportunity to express their individuality through clothes and created a variety of things – both ball dresses and denim mini skirts. Later, the designer changed the concept of his brand, because it found incorrect sewing frank clothes and, in turn, wearing a hijab. For this reason, she launched a ruler of modest Muslim clothes.
Despite this, the mother of three children noted that he fondly frangly when jeans and fitted top in combination with a scarf on the head. Finally, in 2019, she realized that she should refuse hijab and stay faithful to himself.
“I do not need a clothing element that will prove my piety. I hate the labels of society. In 2017, I took part in the show The Apprentice on the BBC, and I was considered a role model, a reference Muslim woman. However, my refusal to wear hijab should not be a reason for condemnation, “the designer said.
Heroine material added that he felt relieved from the decision made, but continued to pray and attend the mosque in the relevant robes.
“Everyone must be free. I urge young women encountered with such problems, do not be afraid of talking about them. (…) You should not sacrifice your happiness for any religion – this is contrary to its meaning,” I concluded.
In January, the model revealed the reasons for refusing to refuse to work out in a swimsuit and hijab. Khalima Aden explained that he decided to abandon the model business, since the fashion industry contradicts its religious beliefs.
