Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin during the negotiations, which will be held in Moscow on September 9, will sign all road maps to integrate two countries within the framework of the Allied State. This was stated by the Ambassador of the Republic to Russia Vladimir Semashko, reports TASS.
In early July, Lukashenko proposed to develop a strategy for integration with Russia within the framework of the Allied State until 2030. He noted that the Union of the two countries is the value that needs to convey to future generations.
On June 4, the Russian Ambassador in Minsk Evgeny Lukyanov reported that Russia and Belarus had already agreed on 27 of the 28 road maps on integration. Previously, Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Publichenko said that Belarus has freezed and transmitted Russia projects 26 integration road maps.
In 2019, when initially planned to complete the integration, a number of protests were held against deepening cooperation with Russia. Then Lukashenko repeatedly declared the need to conduct multi-vector policies and build an independent country. He regularly complied with the “Imperial Spaspie” of Russia, criticizing the project of integration within the framework of the Allied State. Such a position he adhered to the presidential elections in August 2020, when mass protests against Lukashenko began.
