Foreign Minister Ann Linde announced the challenge that Russia’s policy throws to the European Union. According to her, he is aimed at the values and interests of the European Block. Such an answer, the diplomat gave to the request of the deputy Marcus Vikhel, reports RT.
“The relations of Sweden and the EU with Russia will remain difficult until Russia acts, challenging our interests and values,” the agency leads her words.
Linde added that in relations with Moscow Stockholm and Brussels need a “long-term and principled approach” – both when communicating with officials and in contact with representatives of the Russian civil society and opposition.
Previously at the end of August, the German Ambassador in Russia, Geza Andreas von Hair, assessed the prospect of the Summit of Russia – the EU. According to the ambassador, this requires a consensus from all Member States of the European Block, and this situation has not yet developed.
